Has anyone else noticed how the all pervasisve "political correctness" is finding its way into every orifice?
The current bit of PC bollox thats grinding my melon is this word "partnership"...its "working in partnership" for this, or "in partnership" with the other.
Its like its trendy or something for these muppets.
Proudly proclaiming on the side of their refuse trucks, " In partnership with" blah de ferkin blah! Or on the side of an ambulance "Partners with" ....etc etc
Im siiiiiiiiiiick of this word, this usage, this bollox terminology.
I reckon its been thought up by some transexual lentilist "hug the bunnies" save the trees Mizz and has been adopted by the likeminded dense'ets in local councils countrywide.....morons and retards the lot of em.

I could be wrong, but didn't this trend develop from public sector suppliers such as Capita and EDS
Take one :
Supplier : "Our tender to supply the service you require is £100 million"
Middle Manager Grade Civil Servant : "Sounds expensive to me, are you sure?"
Take Two :
Strategic Partner : "Our tender to supply the service you require is £450 million (with caveats for cost overruns, perfomance indicator bonuses, and not forgetting it's all done under PFI so by the time we've finished in 30 years you will own the project totally for a cost not far short of £3 billion plus your firstborn child unto 20 generations). However, forming a strategic partnership alliance is far more rewarding than "buying" something don't you think?. Makes you sound sooooooo much more interesting in the pub and we're pretty sure it's as good as viagra for curing middle management impotency"

me !!. I am King Procurement, I formulate strategic partnership policy. I AM IMPORTANT !!!. Where do I sign?"

Actually I think this is more of a public sector get ure shit together strategy.
When the scumbag was in power she made sure all the civil (hah) servants thought of suppliers as filth to be abused and mistreated. Unfortunately as private industry captains are usually smarter that yer average EIEIO (civil service joke) that meant the smart ones got smarter and the dim ones went bump.
Now happy clappy third way moron is procuring supplies of fresh services and other products labelled "crapage" Due to an extreem lack of interest from the private sector, public sector scapegoats (oops sorry partners) have to be formed (at extra cost and universally employing greens and other drug users) to ensure the untrustworthy bastards dont pull the plug and leave the supply chain high and dry and well in the hole.
In short, partnerships are where large groups of the totally incompetent meet to discuss non issues, eat fattening buffet lunches and bark softly at the those responsible for the "deliverables" bit of the contract while congratulating each other on the effectiveness of the Health and safety policy preventing 14 to 16 year olds from getting dirty hands while on work experience.
