how to change things?

Soooo many posts on here about how bad things are in the UK, rather than bleat on endlessly about how awful it all is why dont we get up of our fat behinds and make a difference.
How? I have no idea, one though I'm toying with is to en mass join the Tory party, 20 odd thousand new members with an agenda, can change policy in the Tories. 20 odd thousand joining New Labia will not be noticed as the Union block votes are too dominant.
20 odd thousand extra determined new members can shape Tory policy into what we want.
Anyone got any thoughts?

You are indeed correct-The Tories have the potential to become a great government if some of their policies can be changed. As long as the average age of their memebership remains somewhere north of 50 they will not be ready to embrace the radical reforming policies that Britain needs-One man cannot do much by himself but a gathering of right minded people-there is nothing they cannot achieve.
why not?
You agree with most of their policies, you want to change some. The PH massive, spends all day moaning about how bad things are, yet we have a chance to mobilise before the election.
Maybe not win the election but make changes Im sure. .
