what decent sunglasses for the summer?
Discussion
I've never owned a decent pair of sunglasses as they always get broken or lost......but am tempted to splash out this summer on a pair of Oakley 'Penny' shades in titanium finish.......£245 quid to you sah!
or are they a bit passe?
how 'bout you?
This will probably put the kybosh on any decent weather for easter!

Persol 2672-s
Some of the best lenses in the business. I prefer the slightly larger ones (2672 comes in various bridge/lense sizes) and also prefer the tortoise frames with brown lenses. Great UV protection though the lenses are so strong that they can interfere with sat-nav viewing (rainbow effect)
Cheers

I prefer the Serrengetti range of 'driver' lenses. These are bronze tint and developed for driving, they aren't so dark as to cause eye strain as I found with the Rayban lenses. Unfortunately my current pair failed the 'drop test' on to concrete!! I keep meaning to send them back for a new lense.
I'd recommend a visit to your local Sunglasses hut where you can try out various pairs of shades, then you can be a git and buy them online and save a few quid!!

I love my Raybans, and I get them for a reasonable price from these guys:

They do oakley, gucci etc
the cheapest way of getting oakleys is through the states at the moment, go to a stockist, try on the various frames, make sure they suit you, especiall the x metal frames, penny is the smallest of them, so tends to suit women or men with small heads, choose our frames and the lens tint you like, it can make a big difference and it's a personal thing, so once you've decided, go to ebay, type in oakley and the style and look for available to the uk option. You are unlikely to get hit for import duty and even if you do import duty and shipping will be less the the price here.
look for a sleer with high feedback and who has sold oakleys before and shows the catual item in a photo, not just lifted off the oakley website, but just as a quick scan
