Sorry Brian, you wont be able to see it, unless you can get BBC1 on your multi-channel USA style satellite/cable TV.

Brand new hi-tech series of Dr Who is about to start here in the UK, it has been hyped up beyond hype...it had better be good. Dr Who is a national institution, way beyond Trekkies over your sode of the pond.

Yes please, imagine a new version of that, big budget, top writers, CGI, etc.

Bring it on.

CGI was pants, acting was fairly poor although the Doctor was better than I expected, Billie Piper matched up to expectations

I wonder what BBC's rating for the previously non existent Saturday night viewing was.

Wasn`t bad at all

But the thing I found un-believeable wasn`t the plastic dummies coming to life but that London street fronted by terraced houses - and not one parked car!! Talk about far fetched

The wheelie bin bit looked really fake and I thought the restaurant scene was too comedic. Rest was great though! I dont think i'll ever be able to walk into a clothes shop again though in case "plastic comes to life"
