hmm.. an earthquake "date" observation

I made the connection while chatting to my kids over dinner tonight. Those two earthquakes in the Indian Ocean, both of them occurred on subsequent Bank Holidays (Boxing Day and Easter Monday). Bear in mind that Good Friday is not a Bank Holiday, so I predict the next one will be on the first Monday in May.

Is it not? The DTI seems to think so...

In fact, according to the DTI there were four bank holidays between Boxing Day and Easter Monday: the 27th and 28th December, 3rd January and Good Friday.

Maybe it's every fifth bank holiday?

I was thinking that perhaps these two earthquakes were triggered by tidal interactions with The Moon. December 26 2004 was Full Moon and March 25 was also Full Moon. Both earthquakes occured either on or very close to a Full Moon.

It is a fact that Moonquakes are caused by the earth pulling on the moon.
