Veritas - anybody know anyone who is standing at

theres a guy who wants to stand in peterborough but there are no Veritas members there. He needs 8 people to sign a form so he can stand. Apparently Silky is standing against Hoon so i think he stands a fair chance of getting in, maybe?

will anybody being switching tory or UKIP to veritas in this election? If there is nobody on PH that will do this then i think they are doomed.

I think fringe parties like those will not be attracting many votes in a General election.

Veritas might have some success in attracting the orange vote though.

I had the disturbing feeling of being sorry for a family of Gypsies recently, there was a trailer on for a program where Kilroy spends a week with them to get an insight into their way of life apparently. Poor bastards.

IMO Veritas is just a publicity vehicle for an Ego. My UKIP loyalty will stay where it is thanks.

Watching the documentary on BBC2 a few months ago, the guy has a good point about the state of the EU and its politics.

Hes an intelligent guy, I don't agree with everything he says, but I applaud him for having the courage to voice his beliefs.

I'd consider voting for him.

I can’t see where VERITAS is going to do anything constructive. Except split the far right vote maybe.
I not sure if that would be good for any of the mainstream parties or not.

Fringe parties would do well to follow the Greens example and build up local support first. (No I’m not a Green)
I get the feeling VERITAS will fissile out after the election. Or merge with UKIP.

Euro sceptism might be considered a right wing position-but not neccesarly a far right position CC.

They might take votes off the Tories-and do you regard them as a far right party?

Yes you are correct. I really meant VERITAS would split the euro sceptic vote.
As for the Tories. I don’t think they know themselves how far right they are yet. Maybe they will sort it all out after the election.
