as i've gotten older i cant be bothered so much to shave away the hair around my neck, until it looks unsightly an i have to !
[an which takes forever.]

then i heard on the radio today theres some DIY electrical home kit, small an cheapish, which can remove hair permantley, strand by strand.

it works by a small electrical charge being sent down each hair strand till its rooting is shocked dead, so that no hair re-grows back thru that folicle.

theres no pain but a tingle when using its 2 twezzer-like electrodes which pinch each hair till dead ended.

of course i dont mind too much in shaving my face, just that the neck part is tricky an a pain to do.
an i suppose you could use it on long nasual hairs as well, of which i have a couple that grow out a little.

now i'd love to do this to the hairs below my chin -
but where can i buy this device???

Isn't that electrolisis (Sp?)

Women have that done to their legs and faces don't they? To stop hair growth.

I pulled apart my wifes electrosis thingy (as you do) and found all it was is a 27mhz crystal oscillator with the output connected to the tweezers. RF burn I suppose? So dig out your old CB radio and give it a go

Apparently the hair will regrow eventually using this type of equipment. The salons have a better version but they insert a very fine needle down the hairshaft and then shock the root to kill it. This I understand is permament. But pretty painful.
A mate who had a one brow had a gap created to give him more normal eyebrows but it took many sessions and he was pretty red during the sessions.

I tried this on my bikini line - takes ages and the hair does grow back eventually. But it is weaker which makes waxing a lot more bearable

i wonder then, if a guy did this, would women want men to also wear a bikini?

now only joking, tho as a catch-up point, i did try a new shaver last week, a braun, an it was made in China - no wonder Germany has high unemployment!!

I say take off and nuke the sight from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

It's amazing how many threads you can post that in
