No really; it is…
After my laptop automatically adjusted itself for daylight saving hours last weekend what does Outlook do? It goes and moves all my appointments forward an hour! Outlook on my iPaq did exactly the same without me synching the two! FFS!
I nearly missed a flight on Friday because of it. I had to leave the office at 11:00 for a 13:05 flight – so I thought. At 9:55 – just by chance - I decided to double check the email confirmation. The flight was 12:05. So I had to leave at 10:00. i.e. in 5 mins! 
Cue running round the office like a headless chicken for 5 mins.
I checked all my other appointments and they’re all forward by an hour and also all of my all day events and recurring dates (e.g. contact birthdays) are now stretched over two days from 1:00 to 1:00
My calendar looks a complete mess. I’m having to go though every item, open it, and change the date and time. 
It’s latest little tantrum is that every time I try to collect my pop mail and it fails to connect to the pop server it fills my inbox up with duplicate copies of about the last 5-10 emails I’ve received except the from user is blank and the attachments have been removed. WTF??? I mean how the hell does it get its head around to doing that?
Oh and Autoarchive doesn’t work. It does F-all. I’ve set it up to run every 14 days and move items older than 6 months and specified a file but so far the file is empty. It’s move nothing

Oh dear. I did try Lotus notes once (along with Lotus Smartsuite). They should have stuck to building cars...

Its supposed to be a visual clue that you have typed your password correctly before you press enter.

Funny, I was told it was to distract people while you typed your password in; so it wouldn't be seen.
Oh and Notes is the biggest pile of poo. How they manage to sell it into so many companies, I do not know.

Im using Mozilla Thunderbird now since outlook broke and nothing would get it to work again.
Glad I got forced to change really after swapping.
In a moment of frustration I tried this, but Outlook used 9mb memory on my employer's system and Thunderbird swallowed 21mb+ and didn't offer scheduling support.
So back to Lookout for now.

Because its good at whats at its core, workflow.
Every company shuffles paper, notes gets rid of a lot of that paper.
Hugely inefficiently mind you but thats all supposed to change in Release 7 when they catch up with the work of Mr Codd.
