Hi all,

Looks like I might be off to Cork in Ireland in the next few weeks on business, anyone been there or have any experience of the place?

Just want to get an idea if there is anything worth doing (other than visiting the bars!) or seeing.

Cheers

Matt

Cork City is worth a wander round, especially the English Market. If you've got transport Kinsale, and the surrounding coast-line, is definately worth a visit. The view from the Old Head is spectacular on a clear day. The Ring of Kerry (Cork/Kerry border) and Bantry Bay also offer some spectacular views.
My other recommendations are Blarney Castle, which is only about 15 minutes out of the city and the town of Cobh (last port of call for the Titanic) is about 20 minutes in the other direction.

If you want advice on good pubs to go to, there are too many to mention!
