A TWENTY PERCENT pay cut.














Mind you, I also volunteered to have 20% of my life back...














Four day weeks, thank you very much.














Now, what to do with three day weekends....

Random tangent here. Who decided that we will have 5 workdays and 2 weekend days? Surely 4/3 it much better as it evens it out for those of us that like our days off and those that like working.

Well, it used to be only one day off because of the sabbath (Judeo-Christian tradition), until labor laws existed to limit how much work per week. I don't know how they came up with 8 hour days, though.

I would quite happily work extra hours Mon-Thurs so I could have a 3 day weekend. Not sure I'd take a pay cut though.

I did this last year, and great as it was having a 3 day weekend...eventually money slowly became an issue.

I'm back to Mon-Fri



If you can afford it..don't go back. There's more to life than work..

The great paradox of life In order to enjoy your time off you need money, in order to have money you have to work.... D'oh!

Good luck wedgie, i'd like to do the same but i suspect i'd rapidly be reaquainted with my p45!
