Is there anywere good to eat in Cherbourg ?

After sailing for 9 hours a decent restaurent would be a very nice reward, but I can't find one in Cherbourg,OK the ones on the front open late to cater for the sailing trade but the food is pretty crap , I thought the one we found behind the market square might be good, but no !

Anybody got any recomendations ?

I'll try to find out for you. There is a nice place as you go from the harbour towards the town on (I think) the first road on the left hand side. The meal we had after coming from Alderney was beautiful, but I'll see if I can find the name
