Just nipped out for some lunch.

On my travels down a steadily moving road, a person was trying to pick a safe spot to cross the road, between any two cars that had left enough gap.

I was too close to the car infront, so the person clearly aimed to cross behind my car, as I passed.

Unfortunately for this person, I pressed my middle peddle and to my surprise, they bounced off the rear wing.

That wasn't very nice was it?

You should have then pressed the loud pedal, just to add insult to injury!

Just before christmas i watched a guy cross Oxford road (manchester). He sprinted across and ran smack into the side of a bus which had slowed down somewhat.

I hate when people do that. I was stopped in traffic on one side of a light while I observed a pedestrian walking between stopped cars on the other side of the intersection. The cars moved, he was in someone's blind spot, and got clipped and knocked out into the road...Except the light had just changed, and he was lying in the lane I would have driven into as I crossed the intersection. So I stopped in front of him (instead of swerving around him--he would have been a speedbump to the cars behind me), and someone in the cars ahead told the lady who clipped him what she'd done. She came back right away and was really upset. She must have thought she killed him, and it was his own stupid fault. The paramedics came and took him away and the police took all our statements. The guy wasn't speaking and was bleeding from mouth and nose. I never heard anything about it afterwards. I hate when moron pedestrians do things like that, expecting the world to be able to stop on a dime and have a 6th sense on their whereabouts. They cause a lot of undue grief, and get away with it.
