Ways to stop a cat sitting on your car with claws
Discussion
OK! It said car instead of cats before!!!! D'OH!
Back to the question though. How do you stop cats sitting on your car and digging their claws in!??
As I said before, mine never went near my car but the neighbours cats do all the time and have put scratches all over my bonnet.
Worst still, you can't chase them off otherwise they panic and dig those claws in even further!!!!
Ideas anyone?

I suppose if you got some big claws, and glued them to the car with the sharp ends sticking out, they'd be a pretty good cat deterrent.
Or you could get one of those claw things that cranes grab things with, and use it to grab the cat when it looks like it's about to get on the car.
Or you could have big rotating drums with claws on, set around the car, so as to catch and sling away any approaching cats.
If you managed to get hold of a large number of tyrannosaurus claws, you could set them vertically in concrete around the car with the pointy ends facing outward, to form a kind of cheval-de-frise (chat-de-frise?)
It might be sufficient simply to get several lorry loads of claws and dump them in big piles all around the car, so the cat doesn't see it in the first place.
