View To A Kill - Worst Bond Ever?

Just watching it now...it really is painfully bad (even worse than Never Say Never Again); looks like an American tv movie, and of course Moore was way too old. This has to be low point of the franchise...doesn't it?

Yes the bit when Zorin plucks the woman from the ground in his airship is the most pathetic thing in a film............ever.

Moore looks about 65 too.

The only redeeming feature is Fiona Fullerton in the Jacuzzi if you ignore her abysmal Russian accent and the very orange Moore.

Got to disagree there. Moonraker was one of the best ones. With Drax being the best Bond Villain to date.

The worst Bond film was the Daltrey one where the tankers head off down the hill at the end.

I always thought a view to a kill is good.
octopussy is good too.
Moonraker is far fetched, but good.

The worst is the man with the golden gun: one stunt, annoying midjet guy, silly plot-going after an assasin, okay, but who also happens to be making a new form of energy, come on.

Semi agree: Roger should have been left out to stud after 'For Your Eyes Only' and thus, yes, View To A Kill was indeed rancid horse scent.

Still, Octopussy was also dire but Moonraker was magnificent.

Indeed, coming after my favourite of 'em all moment, 'Spy' from two years earlier, it was something of a farcical but qualitational crescendo and signed off Roger's increasingly comic Bond resume beautifully (if you like that sort of thing!)

Michael Lonsdale's Drax was Bond Baddie Heaven and for that reason alone (as Herr Daz emphased above), it deserves acclaim.

None of Brossie's outings are fit to mix Roger's drinks so please, get a grip!

'Golden Gun. Value for money: You get a man with three nipples, martial arts, a flying car, the crap jump across river, Nik Nak ("the plane, the plane")and lastly, but by no way least, Brit jiggling around in a see through babydoll.
