Thinking about moving to USA

I'm up for it, just need to convince the wife.With my line of work i'm sure i can make plenty of money.The problem is where,i'm sure there is some where there is no speed limit.This is where i would like to live.
any ideas from you guys would be great, pros and cons

IIRC it was Montana which briefly had no speed limit when the federal law ceased.

However, the feds soon made Montana change its mind!

Montana had no limit for a while IIRC, now they are getting limits.

I may be wrong though.

Why not go in for the annual green card lottery while you're looking, enquiring, considering...you don't have to take it up immediately even if you get lucky without any well developed plans.

There are eligibility issues for brits that parents or spouse could possibly circumnavigate, try it here

Just got back from arizona.... they dont like speeding out there..... well thats what the policeman told me.....

We came across a trooper carrying out speed checks between Tuscon and Tombstone (yes - that Tombstone).

There were no towns for 10s of miles around!

yeah, seen them hiding in the bushes 50miles from anywhere.......

seriously....perfectly straight roads, wide lanes and ridiculous 55/65/75 limit the roads were hardly crowded even at peak times

its true....there wasnt much there either!

In some towns the local government is paid for by speeding fines because they happen to have an Interstate nearby.

I'm not sure thinking of going out in a few months,thats why i'm asking for ideas.

Vermont or New Hampshire - all of the benefits of living in Massachusetts without the huge state debt and high housing costs. Very liberal and progressive socially, and these states' governments take a no-nonsense fiscal attitude - provide only necessary services, do the job right, pay for it immediately.

Southern Vermont and western New Hampshire have some of the best driving roads I've ever been on. Huge elevation changes, tight twisties, very little traffic, very libertarian cops. I-89 and I-91 are the best "floor it" roads I've seen on the East Coast.

The biggest thing about VT and NH is that they can be relatively isolated thanks to difficult terrain, yet you're not 100 miles from nowhere.
