Saw him play last night.

Holy shit. If you've an appreciation of acoustic guitar playing of the highhest order, I URGE you to see/hear him. I'm not messing about, you owe it to yourself.

My jaw hit the table after the first few bars and i walked out after several encores, shaking my head in disbelief mumbling "...must burn my guitars when I get home....".

Absolutely astonishing talent.

Very nice player, but I didn't find the amazing bit.

I know my Flamenco / gypsy-style and jazz playing and there are some amazing guys doing everything with awesome feel . . . Jaco Pastorius blew me away. Eddie Van Halen doing some acoustic stuff too. John Scofield / Bill Frisell have tremendous feel. Well, I could go on . . . enjoy.

He'll be big, very big.

Its not just the showy stuff either. He has an instict for the wide tonal range of his instrument and the knowledge and skill to exploit it to the full.

The recorded material, as is always the case, doesn't come across as even a 10th of how good he is live.
