Mowers

Someeones got to have the answer to this one....

My cylinder mower doesn`t cut the grass very well. It seems to flatten most of it. And when you pull it backwards huge clumps fly round the blades into the grassbox. It`s been sharpened, so it`s not that.

Anyone got any ideas?

No the opposite, raise the blade to the top, take a first cut then cut it again.

The reason the grass is being knocked over is because its too long to cut.

Out of curiosity, would that work?
I don't want to break your equipment, but if you have a rotary mower and a spare five minutes vixpy...

The problem is the drum being metal, so no grip.. i guess putting a bit of rubber round would work..
