Hi all

Not posted in here before - so hi!

Ok, this is a little O/T to begin with, but'll become relevant towards the end! Thought I'd share it.

I'm a bit of a curtain twitcher by nature, but last night decided my alertness/observation should be put to some good... for the past week, at about 1am, an L reg Honda Accord appears, without fail, in my car park, on a private estate, and parks right outside my bedroom window. It's a cul-de-sac, purely residential area. There are about 3 lads that are in this car each night. they arrive, get out and have a p!ss - charmingly enough against the fence, and then proceed to sit inside the car, tinted windows up, for approx 2 hours, with their cacky music blaring out via sub woofer, with the booooom booooooooom boooooooooom keeping me awake until they get bored and sling their hook.

Well, last night I decided enough was enough. Decided as I am a young chick, it mightn't be for the best to go down there with my golf club and threaten them, and instead called the police. Wasn't sure what to expect with regard to 'rapid response' but was pleasantly surprised when they got on to the scene approx 20 mins later... however, catch this. The car they turned up in wasn't just unmarked... it was super chavved up - body kit and pretty impressive (as in large) rear spoiler... Now, I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking it was a Mazda6... black...

Anyway, they were there for about an hour, have no idea what it was, but it looked pretty comprehensive - a lot of shoving of the individual lads in and out the back of the car, searching of them, and of their car.. I'm assuming they won't choose to conduct their dodgy business on my estate again...this is all irrelevant really - but just thought it might be worth mentioning the police car... I was pretty about it, that's for sure. You just would have had NO idea at all! Scary as hell.

This was in Coventry city centre, by the way....

Hi

Well done for calling the police-if you can make Chavs lives difficult go for it.

Maybe the unmarked police car looked like that in order to encourage boy racers to race them?

I take it this cul de sac is off the beaten track and doesnt get much passing traffic, foot or road?

They were parked up having a smoke I reckon.

Yeah, this is what I thought.... can't be having that kinda thing going on outside my pad!!

And yeah, there was totally no reason for them to be there, bar doing something dodgy. They were always parked up in front of a tall fence (which they peed on a fair amount... ) and bar flats and houses, there's really nowt to look at...
