As part of my step towards going self-employed, my small company has now gone Limited and we are going to be selling a web product along with our other normal IT services.
Its a good product, very easy to sell but I have very little sales training. Did some telesales for 2 months
when I was younger.
Any experienced salespersons here want to give the new guy some tips?
Cheers in advance

In a previous life I was an MD with a sales team.
I always gave them this advice:
Don't be a t
t.
Pressure sales work with double glazing but don't work with business sales.
Customers need to like you to buy from you, and buy again.
Go the extra mile.
Deal straight and never cause them a headache.
We picked up more than a dozen blue chip clients, including high street banks, the most successful supermarket retailer in the UK, the biggest leisure group and others from a standing start with an unproven product and technology in less than twelve months.
Hope that helps.
