I left Three for Voda3G over 4 months ago, and sorted out the outstanding balance. All done and dusted.

Three have just sent me a new bill, totally out of the blue.

For 1 pence.

£0.01 - how pathetic is that? Of course they'll never see that 1 pence.

You MUST send them the money. It's your contractual obligation.....

.....so send them a penny in an envelope marked "postage to be paid by recipient".

But.....I have no contract with them! Paid it off months ago.

TBH I think I'll just ignore it and see what happens

This is a brilliant revenge mechanism, when you are annoyed with a supplier pay 1p short. Their computer will get into gear and go through all the processes which will cost them loads of money but at the end of the day they are never going to take you to court. Nice low level civil disobedience.

Heh, the taxman sent me a demand for about 3 quid I think. With the demand was a letter saying "We're not going to pursue you for this, but could you please pay it".

Guess what I didn't do?
