Has anyone tried this?! What an awesome mix of club music!!!!

Vocal Trance is by far the best with some legendary classics!!!!

www.digitallyimported.com

Btw....if anyone wants to record it for their MP3 player for free or for CD in the car, just copy the URL into GetRight (if you have it), and download as much as you want. Once you've had enough DO NOT STOP the download!!! This will just delete what you've downloaded!!!! Just copy and paste the downloaded file into another location and name it <whatever>.mp3. Now stop the download and voila! Quality music for your car

What a website! Just added it to my favourites menu.

Edited: just to add that I've been listening to it all day and it's goddamn awesome! Thanks a lot Beanbag!

Progressive for me - www.di.fm/mp3/progressive.pls

I must be getting old

Soma.fm's Groove Salad is equally good, but a little more laid back... www.somafm.com/

Only thing with digitally imported is that you can get a bit bored of hearing the same stuff over and over again. However it doesn't repeat on a daily basis or anything, but if you listen to it at work for 8 hrs every day you might get some duplicates

Started on trance then moved on to psy-trance, but thank buggery they've introduced the DnB stream at last!

Rather than start a new thread, thought I'd post on the end of this one...

Anyone know if you can still download streams using GetRight?

Yup! Just find the "MP3" location, and paste it in the URL. Then, get GetRight to download for however long you'd like your new MP3 to be.

Once you've reached the length you like, pause the download and copy the GetRight "partially downloaded file" to another location and rename it with the .mp3 extension.

If that didn't make any sense, email me and i'll do some screenshots for you!

That's what I have been doing. It's changed in the last month... can you try it? post a sample URL too so I can test my system?

Thanks.

OK....the buggers changed the SHOUTcast version to stop you doing what was done before.....however no problems!!

Use this little program called Streamripper:

http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/

Works brilliantly plus you can also listen to the music as you stream it.

I think a few tracks may have found their way onto some sort of P2P thingy. Details elude me, but I'm sure a friend of a friend had found a few of the vocal trance mixes on soulseek or something like that..

Some of the mixes are available freely for download. DJ GT for example: www.generationtrance.com/

Try looking in their forums for links.

ta.

dunno why they dont sell mixes on CD, having played them on di.fm. if they were at a reasonable price (ie around £3) i wouldn't think twice about buying a handful.
