2 new additions to the family, a pair of Fox Hound Pups.

We've got them till the end of the summer until they go back to learn how to persecute foxes.

Damn cute little beggars eh?

Getting working dogs used to humans eh?

We used to do that with sheep dogs - it's great - you look after them as cute puppies and get rid of them when they start to eat loads!

Good looking hounds Ex

Aint that the truth, I swear they were bigger this morning than they were when we put them to bed last night!

Strong little buggers too, the male one takes our 7yr old for a walk rather than it being the other way round

We recently acquired a Jak Russell puppy. When we got her about 8 weeks ago she almost fitted in the palm of my hand. Now she is "dog sized".

But those fox hounds are very cute looking with their big floopy ears and dopey grins. (Just don't mention them to Bruciebabe!)

A few more pics from the weekend. I swear these guys are getting bigger every day.

Does anyone know how to cure puppies that get car sick? We had to stop about 6 times to clean them up.

The little fella has definately got the hang of taking his sister for a walk

That's gotta hurt...

Sleeping soundly on the way home....

Now, just give me a few more months and I'll get round and sort Bruciebabe's foxes out for him

Our dog used to get very sick in the car. We just got some special dog sleeping pills, and slipped them in his food before a trip. He just slept though it, and woke up for his walk at the other end.

He has subsequently grown out of it.

That's a stunning photo Jim, I really must try harder! I tend to find that by the time my digicam has focussed and decided that it might actaully take a picture the moment has passed....

cheers

Hi Ex

Thanks! Yes, it was done with a digital SLR. There's no way our little PAS digicam we have could have taken that shot. But I was lucky to get it! I tried again today and in the 8 attmepts, all 8 were out of focus. Hard for a camera to focus on an object hurtling towards you at an unstoppable rate!
