They are sorely missing, last one was back in June 2004, anyone got any ideas for Ted to rant against ?

How about the French ?

In June of last year,Ted approached we with a view to buying an island, with sunshine, naked women, and a racetrack.
I found him one...

Coincidence?

I did find that anger genuinely fuelled my rants. There's simply not enough anger in my life currently.

I'll ring a few debtors up - that usually gets my blood boiling

Wait until the onset of middle-age, mate.

As my Father sagely announced - "Middle Age. Its when you realise that those in charge really are brainless goons!"

Okay you need anger. Well I've just emailed all the advertisers on PH to say that I refuse to buy their products on principle, because they're advertised on a down-market chav infested web-site.

So now: you can get angry with me.

Do you actually want to have a forum all to yourself a la sin bin?

What would you do all day?

Ted, i recon something along the lines of a grim future might be in order, heavily influenced by specs amongst other things.

I mean really chaps... a uk covered in specs, i cant think of anything more godawful, my blood boils at the very thought.

Bloody hell yes. It would look awful...I'd recommend those 30 day contacts instead.

I think PH really has changed a lot since the heyday of 'Teds rants. Looking back over them, some of them (I'm thinking especially the ones on Max Power, or numpty aids) when they were written would've raised a laugh from everyone, but since PH has expanded and become more open and bigger (and more professional thanks to Manek's editorial role), they wouldn't get the kind of response you used to find. I reckon, where previously, anything attacking Laxxers would have got everyone saying 'great rant', would nowadays have a 50:50 split in the accompanying forum.

Then again, if Ted did what Clarkson does - pick a topic each month and do a funny piece with a point to it - then the rants would return. What do you think, Ted?

He's got it easy though Sitting around in his pyjamas all day, gassing on pistonheads, taking money from advertisers and talking about cars, watching videos, doing a little more gassing, playing with his padlocks and putting people in the sin bin. If clarkson knew what he was missing...

Seriously though ted, its hard running a business, well done on what PH has become

The other factor is that I have to do a lot more each day than I did a few years back. Lots more going on means less time sitting around smoking cigars, chewing pies and throwing stones at the neighbours.

Never let the urgent take priority over the important, Ted.
