I know that, this place is supposed to be for non-motor related chat, but the sheer volume of folk posting in the P&P makes it the ideal place to discuss the latest bit of under-handed shafting that Labour and their army of civil servants have dealt to farmers and motorsport enthusiasts alike. I'm really saddened by the complete and utter disregard for any kind of free debate and lobbying against the rulings that is discussed in the following:

I think the thing was that, flushed by their success with hunting with dogs, they're now taking on shooters (makes me think of bank robbers), fishers, and drivers all at once. A pretty broad front. Hopefully, ultimately, making all these enemies will be their undoing and they'll collapse in spectacularly appropriate Third Reich style.
A short note to all those who were in favour of a ban on fox hunting:

Refering to removing the offence of “wanton and furious driving”
The options are to create new, specific, offences of bad driving to apply to private property, or to extend to private property the offences that apply in public places. The Government prefers, in principle, the second of these and would welcome views on this and the alternative. In any reform of the law in this area, the Government would wish to repeal
the 1861 Act offence, while making sure that suitable offences and penalties existed to deal
with bad driving and its consequences in private places, and by non-motorised vehicles.

And for the section of the act...
"Drivers of carriages injuring persons by furious driving.
35. Whosoever, having the charge of any carriage or vehicle, shall by wanton or furious driving or racing, or other wilful misconduct, or by wilful neglect, do or cause to be done any bodily harm to any person whatsoever, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and being convicted thereof shall be liable, at the discretion of the court, to be imprisoned for any term not exceeding two years"
What a glorious world we live in eh?

Hopefully our country won't be in the same state as Germany when the Nazis had finshed with it.

That is exactly what I have been worried about.
And my lawyers in GB have been instructed to bring charges/legal action against the supervising authority to ensure the vote in my constituency is null and void if my paperwork does not arrive! DAMNED LABOUR SCROTES!!!!!

Same here if postal vote doesn't come soon.
So that's a 907 mile round trip, £xxx for days wages, and around 180lt unleaded.
Hopefully it'll be worth it as Annabel Ewwing (scottish nose pickers) only had a 48 margin over conservatives last time round. So hopefully have a Tory this time.

I've thought of this myself. By definition the people we associate with and befriend online and otherwise are likely to be aligned similarly to us politically. They're also likely to be from similar walks of life with similar values.
The others, who Do vote for the "shite hawks" , will have different values, bitter, moaning , whinging, complaining values, thoughts of scamming our tax money and bleeding us dry, the non ambitious, the . Well I guess they probably do outnumber us. They must, unless something amiss is going on....
