Hi All,

I won an auction on ebay on Friday evening. The item I have purchased I will have to collect.

However I haven't had any contact with the seller. I've sent him a couple of emails but I have had no response.

What should I do? I was thinking about waiting until Friday evening. (eg 7 days) then leaving some feedback. Is this fair? Or should I give him more time?

Since you were collecting, they should have contacted you straight away. Whats their rating? Any negatives.

Defo leave it until friday and then involve ebay, sellar could be ill, gone on hols for a couple of days.

Well, he might be a 9-5 user, so I would have waited til last night. I would suggest you email him once more telling him to PLEASE contact you by tomorrow or you will have to leave him poor feedback.

Then leave him poor feedback. No one likes being messed about by someone unreliable.

Feedback is 3 positive. I'm not too worried as I haven't paid for anything. I emailed him saying would he like cash on collection and he hasn't replied to that either.

Thats why I was planning on leaving it until Friday. I emailed him saying when I was free to pick it up after I won the auction but there was no response.

I'll give him a few more days!

Chase them up through Ebay, certainly, but I wouldn't be so quick on leaving bad feedback. There could be a genuine reason for the lack of contact. If you leave bad feedback you will probably get some in return.
