Accident-prone
Discussion
Is anyone else generally accident-prone on here at all? I don't know why, but I seem to walk straight into silly mistakes (and walls, windows, staircases etc) without noticing, with alarming regularity. Falling off pavements without warning seems to be my party piece, but today, I excelled myself.
Just in the kitchen, putting a chicken on a roasting dish, I had no idea how powerful the magnet on the little digital egg timer was, as it must've shot across the worktop out of my line of sight and attached itself to the bottom of the dish like a limpet mine.
As a result, tonight I had Coq au Plastique et Electronique. Tasted a bit...rubbery. And the kitchen now smells like a tyre yard.
Anyone else find themselves walking into little accidents that literally no-one else could have?
