Very much worth a watch if you've never seen it.

Big girl's blouse.

It even has a Prodigy soundtrack at the end. Great cast too.

In what way is it scary? If it's a 'designed to shock you with scary monsters' horror I'll probably find it funny. If it's a psycho affair like Se7en with really horrible things going on in it that will stick in your mind and haunt you when you're trying to sleep?

Are there two movies called "Event Horizon". Because the one I saw with Sam Neil was truly shocking.

IMHO of course.

This is the one you are thinking of.

I really don't think it's shocking....do I have an worryingly high level of tolerance....perhaps I have been thoroughly desensitised.

I wouldn't worry yourself unduly...unless you are perchance currently trainging to be an astronaut. Still, I suppose it is one-up on a fear of flying...

I'm not frightened of space.

This flim is however one of the few things I actually find scary. There are monsters, they aren't scary. What's going on in your mind, really is scary.

My big fear is that the worst thing I can imagine will happen.

When things start to go wrong, it get's exponentially worse.

I didn't find it scary at all, and I watched it at the cinema.

No, scary films for me are The Blair Witch Project, and even Ringu chills my blood.

Ringu? Is that a movie about a video with a penguin in it that everyone who watches dies?

I thought there must have been 2 films as people said it was well scary and I didn't remember it being so....
Just watched it... not scary .. good film tho... although I think the last 30secs or so seems tacked on to make it a happy ending(ish)

I think there must be two, the one I saw had Lawrence Fishburn (I think) in it. I didn't think it was particularly scary and really wasn't very good either, as I recall

Mind you its entirely possible I'm thinking of something else
