I have been doing a bit of reading into Darwins second thought "Sexual Selection":- how our mental hardwiring dictates our behaviour. I figure that there are further differences and patterns which are present and we deal with them day to day.

I was reading mateys "How to get my ex-wife back" thread and someone had a poigniant reply which stated, "Women generally take misery after misery after misery and then something clicks and then that's it", that got me thinking about what the fundamental differences are between us.

So, breaking a relationship up into chunks, we have a few criteria.

1. The pair bond (love)- How do attitudes to this vary between sexes?

2. Communication, what are the characteristic patterns here? I reckon from my experience that women play their cards closer to their chest.

3. Attitudes to sex as the relationship matures. ( I reckon that women use sex to lure a bloke and then use it as a bargaining tool once he is hooked, this ties in with sexual selection and my massive cynicism )

4. How each member of the couple modify their previous behaviour once in the relationship. (Quite a few outgoing blokes are grounded by "er indoors")

5, Etc.

Obviously, there are massive generalisations to be made but in spite of this, I reckon we can have an informative, funny, interesting discussion about this.

Fire away folks......

Men come over all domestic before you actually move in with them, and yet when you do, that kinda stops, thats when the nagging starts

Ah, I think I can explain that. It's because their chests stick out more - and isn't it lovely!

OK sorry, I'm off to bed now.

Eileen...

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Womens' Orgasms.

Elle magazine will tell you what they are, Cosmopolitan will tell you how to have more, and Womens' Weekly will show you how to knit one

Women are there to confuse men, they give off all the right signals then do something highly unexpected!

Women give sex to get affection, men give affection to get sex.

BTW - if men did what they were told, women wouldn't have to nag!

Shallower than a CD case by the sounds of it. I know a girl who dumped her boyfriend because he liked cars - quickly made my no-go list! (real pity, as otherwise she's a lovely girl)
