Looks almost cool in a creepy way. Bet it sends a chill down your spine at night.

Fantastic! There's loads more on the site if you click around a bit. Great stuff if, like me, you have a strange fascination with abandoned stuff

I think tis very eerie, more so as it was a place of 'fun' and now so quiet
strange

Reminds me of those photos you see of the villages and towns around Chernobyl. Everything just stopped as it was and no-one around.

Isn't there a disputed town in Cyprus or something in a similar state of suspension...?

Quite frightening in a way yet certainly fascinating.

Can anyone read Japanese and tell us the story?

Great setting for a horror movie....

Yep, I've seen pictures of the park in Prypyat that had a very similar scene. Quite scary to think what had caused it. I wonder what the story is with this one though.

There is a whole online community devoted to this.

www.urbex.co.uk is one site I've been to and there are links to others in there.

I went there last year.

Took various photo's, most of which included big red "No Photography" signs with a picture of an armed soldier

I could post some up, but they might come after me...

I think thats really intrigueing, I dlike to get into that sort of thing in the UK, there was a site popped up here about 2 years ago underground stations
derelict/abandoned bricked up etc generally scary really
