Regretting sending an email...

Ever sent an email in the heat of the moment? One that you know would cause trouble and doubtless backfire?
Spent a good hour rewriting it to try and tone it down. Now I know it is going to come back and bite me on the arse *sigh*.
Just feel a bit betrayed by some friends at the moment, they've not only left me to do all the work towards something, they've f**ked off to do something else on their own when it was their idea in the first place, and I'm really cross about it.
Problem is said friends are also work colleagues, and in the freelance world what goes around comes around. Bollocks.

Sorry, pressed enter but managed to submit the post instead of doing a carriage return. I was going to add that I was just trying to cheer you up and maybe, just maybe, your friends needed to hear what you had to say and staying quiet would have caused more trouble for you in the long run?...
Cheers for the thoughts chaps.
She's been really off with another friend of mine recently too. He made his intentions towards her clear, she wasn't interested. OK, he comes over a bit "puppy dog lost" but when he's just having a chat she will turn her back to him and ignore him, not to mention pulling faces and rolling her eyes (to me, when she knows we are mates). We have been friends for 8 or so years, but she has got very catty of late. I must admit that I go out much more rarely with my friends, for varying reasons I suppose...
1) I much prefer the company of my fiancee as she is my best friend
2) I'd rather chat with my bro on the phone
3) My friends aren't into cars so it's a big avenue of interest cut off...
4) A lot of them are a bit cliquey, maybe they feel I neglect them, but they never call me
Funny, things were a lot less complicated a few years ago...
Makes it difficult that we often work together and meet each other individually at different times, must be a lot of "threads" going on. I definitely feel I am only getting one side of the story a lot of the time.
I think I am a fairly straightforward guy, try to be a good friend...
Oh I don't know, nuts to it!

it'll be fine mate. your entitled to say whatever you want, most especially if its true. theres never any harm in being honest. unless its the question about whether my bum looks big in this
plus, be honest with yourself: didn't they deserve it? and doncha feel just a little better for clearing your head, underneath the unease? you did nothing wrong, they did. simple as that. and they probably already knew it.
ten will get you twenty that the result will surprise you. it nearly always does.

Really funnny that you should mention this.
Today a mail came in from one of our customers about a system they are using. I merrily hit reply all and then deleted the customer CC addresses from the list.
I then composed our 'in house only reply' stating that we should feckin get our shit together and sort out these problems and here's a way forward.
Only to get a call 10 mins later from my boss saying why the feck did you copy that email to our customers...
Blessed Thunderbird email client has a little scroll bar down the right hand side for the cc list, so I'd only removed half of our customer email addresses.
Oh, my
god, think I'll have to resign.
Fortunately it wasn't slanderous, but needless to say the customer should never have seen this mail.
Needless to say some more I've been out at the pub all night wondering if I'm still gonna have a job tomorrow.
What can you do?

Mate, join the club! Human beings make mistakes, entertaining human beings make proper silly mistakes. It's all in the name of being an idiot who is not 100% in control. Just stick your hands out and say, "
it, I'm really sorry I was just being me again". People will respect you for it. With me, its par for the course.
