No question about it. What time do you have to beat?

we need to finish in under 30 hrs.
if the weather is kind should be ok
if we use the timings from training and the last attempt.

we have scheduled it so that we reach the tidal Thames, at Richmond, at approx 02:00 saturday morning.
This is when the tide is turning and we can ride the outgoing tide to boost our ground speed.

most definatley, there are a flocks of sleeping swans
on the upper reaches as we found out on the first attempt. rowers were injured by the swans as they were taking off, maybe they need lights too. Our light is attatched to the support vessel and is shone along the river bank lighting up overhanging branches from the trees

on the tidal stretch the problems are geese and floating debris.
