AKA the song off the Ipod Shuffle advert - a great slice of late Madchester/early Britpop, £1.99 from your local record shop.

But - I know nothing more about them! Were they around at the time or are they a 'retro' sound? Do they have any albums? Unfortunately the single doesn't have a website on it.

Just for you

Swedish
formed in 95 as Caesars Palace, name changed for the US market (to avoid litigation from a certain casino) although Minty Fresh records actually called them 12 Caesars;
then Cesar Vidal, Jocke Åhlund, David Lindqvist and Jens Örjeheim;
now Cesar Vidal, Jocke Åhlund, David Lindqvist and Nino Keller;
4 albums, Youth is wasted on the young, Cherry Kicks, Love for the Streets, Paper Tigers is the new one, haven't seen it yet;
About as madchester as my arse.

Thanks b&c. I said Madchester because the Keyboard on Jerk It Out is very Happy Mondays and a mate of mine who is the guru of all things indie reckoned it was the Mondays the first time he heard it.

Even so, I'll keep an eye out for those albums!

The song is about 3 years old too. When I lived up north it was very popular indeed. So for me it's a golden oldie

Well it gets played in one of the clubs I go to. I assumed it was either fairly old, or a demo.

They make pretty decent songs. Check out www.burningheart.com/
for Swedish music like it. Some of the bands are very good.

This is the third time its been released IIRC. Apple are fantastic at murdering bands by milking them for an advert - ie, Stereogram, The Vines....And U2. What WERE they thinking?!?

Bought the Jerk It Out album after hearing the track in SFX3 - the snowboarding PS2 game - rest of the album is superb
