cost of hiring singer and studio to sing a song

I was wondering if anyone knows if professional singers can be hired to sing a single song?

Ah takes me back...
Session musicians and studios can be hired by the day or half day, some even by the hour. You will also need a studio tech operator to work the kit and probably a producer to make it all hang together unless you plan to do that yourself.
Talk to a studio manager or producer and they will recommend a vocalist who will suit the style of the song. Be aware though it will probably take a lot longer than you think to tutor someone to produce the sound that you have in your head.
