Hopefully before the sun goes down.

If your in that bad of shape out in the wilderness you should save every bit of food you have and not waste the chocolate on polishing the can.

I can't imagine that other methods of starting a fire would take any longer and most of them will warm you up as you are getting the fire started.

I.E a bow and wood drill on a log.
