There was a report of a blockade today, so it is getting reported, just fairly quietly. This time around it seems the Police are making sure that the depots are not actually blocked, and the tanker driver's union have obviously been told not to cause a scene.

The last protest only worked because it was a quiet news week and reports of protests brought a self fullfilling wave of panic buying. I doubt that could be made to happen this week.

depends on how good the blockade is.

if we wake up tomorrow morning and the blockade is one - I'll be doing my bit and filling up three cars.

at the very least it'll stop a few labour voters driving to the polling station.

A mate of mine who works for the fire brigade told me a few days ago shortages were likely, and to keep the car topped up. Thats all I know (not watched the news recently, dont know if it was mentioned there?)
