I think she means that all they have done is use one of the automatic select-based-on-colour tools to select and copy the leg of the 7, without taking any further measures to make the result look pukka. It looks OK at first glance but you can see that the edges of the "1" have been left fuzzy as a result of the method used to copy it, whereas the edges of the other characters are sharp.
