'Sunflower Valley'
Discussion
Just saw a trailer for this new CBBC series - basically, so far as I see, Bob The Builder builds a town over the summer.
Guess what? The houses don't appear to have garages or provision for cars, the places is powered by a wind farm and everyone lives lentilly ever after.
Now I know it's only a kid's TV series, but is this an example of the BBC trying to indoctrinate kids with some utopian ideal to bother their parents with?
Any PHers with kids been keeping an eye on what they're watching? Anything that confirms my suspicions?

plus, you know, kids cant drive.
oh yes, and its not real.
Yeah, but could you drive when you first got interested in cars?
I just get the idea we're going to see the new-era Grange Hill cast get together at some point for a 'say no to internal combustion' charity song...
Twin cam sorry old chap I do know who you are or much about you - so I won't patronise
I have a two year old boy - he likes the odd TV show
Fimbles Teletubbies yes and Bob.
But believe me all kids I know are fascinated by things that move. they likes Tractors, trains (steam, electric, diesel, thomas the tank engine, wooden train sets, the mainline nearby, seeing them on bridges etc) cars trucks vans, motorbikes, cranes, diggers, buses, lorries and JCBs
He never mentions bicycles
Noddy still has a convertable
Little red tractor still races
Bertie and thomas race each other
rolly scoop muck and dizzy all occasion get the tail out on sharp corners (they do)
It will be all right

....wasn't supermarket sweep on...?
The BBC don't make BTB by the way - its nasty old capitalist stock market company who do.
Has anyone else noticed the sexual tension between Bob and Wendy or is it just me?
Caption competition on the above is tempting but I am sure it would all get a bit "Mrs Slocombe"
