I am amazed just how much meat North Americans eat and how cheap it is.

Also the strange thing about the diet over here is that people do not seem to eat Veg.

Masses of land + pumping the cows full of steroids = lots of chap meat = lots of fat Americans.

I'm not the biggest veg fan, but after 2 weeks in the US I was craving fresh veg and pasta.

I'm not too keen on US beef - quantity over quality in places where I would expect better.
South African beef on the other hand is excellent both in quality & helpings!

My uncles g/f owns a beef ranch in Argentina, when he went out there they barbequed him up a couple of bo11ocks and he had to eat them in front of all the ranch hands

Try being a vegetarian over there!... America as a whole, just seemed to be junk food for veggies - I was craving fresh veg let alone a decent veggie meal.

Eating lots of meat does not make you fat.

Eating lots of junk carbs and sugar, and little exercise, does.
