Clubs, pubs, dinner? - what sort of thing and where abouts - lots of cool places that aren't toursity around Clapham and Putney area, but if you're in central London you're going to have to fight through all the visitors to find the more exclusive (and expensive places)

The list is literally endless!!!

Do you want pub / club / bar / dj bar / restaurant bar etc etc...

check out www.beerintheevening.com / allinlondon.co.uk and other similar sites for areas / bars / descriptions / reviews etc etc... good luck and have fun!

Long Island Ice Tea bar for Happy Hour

Fall out of there into any local boozer, drink until 10pm

Get in a cab and head over to Turnmills in Clerkenwell until 6am.

Job done.

we were thinking a couple of bars and then possibly a club? or if there are places that combine the two then that would be great!

we're staying in Kensal Green, but we're probably going to head into the centre!
A friend mentioned Equinox in Leicester Square, but I read some pretty rubbish reports on it this morning, and its put us off really!

At the end of the day, we're both 19 yr old students, so we're capable of making a good night of wherever we go!

cheers for the input guys, keep it coming!

West India Quay. Its where the city folk go (mainlyon Thursdays though). Excellent in the summer, good atmosphere, very nice ladies and very easy to pull.

Christ, do not go anywhere near Equinox!

I'd recommend Lab on Compton St for cocktails. If you want cheap drinks, Revolution (Queen Anne Ct I think) does some deals and isn't too bad. If you want a bit of a girls on Lambrini night, head to Tiger Tiger - cheap drinks, dancing, etc.

As for clubbing, Turnmills is the don for music, but Pacha is a bit girlier.

£6 for a bottle of lager? No thanks.

If you want to go clubbing there's a choice of loads includig Pacha, The Egg, Turnmills, The Bridge and Tunnel, The Cross, Secret Location, 333, The End, etc, etc.

If you want to go to a few bars you need to narrow down what you're after. Good locations include Old Street, Farringdon, Covent Garden, Soho, etc, etc.

If you can be a bit more specific I'm sure there will be some good suggestions to make sure you won't end up in a dive.

Brick Lane may serve your needs very well indeed.

Vibe Bar, 93' East, Curry houses and if you get really bored Metropolis, Browns and The Axe (Wound) just up the road...
