Digital Cameras in Dubai

Anyone been to Dubai and pruchased any electronic goods? I know they're cheaper over there, but by how much? In particular digital cameras as im going over there in a few weeks. Any relevant websites would be good too Cheers

There are lots of places to shop, but Meena Bizarre (sp) is worth a visit, down past Computer Plaza.

Make sure you check the prices here first, and be prepared to haggle.

1) Been to Dubai a few times now
2) Not strayed into the "electronic souk" specifically

Everywhere else: no difference to European prices

Just my finding!

But Dubai's an awesome place anyway....

I go to Dubai quite often and must say electronic goods are not much cheaper unless you do your shopping at the airport. Choice is good however.

Recommend the "City Centre" shopping mall in Deira.

Just been to Dubai and the prices are the same as here. Try www.froogle.co.uk instead and get a warranty!

i heard that rolex were cheaper there, mate of mine went last year and sold it as soon as he got back,made £800 , not bad

i had a good look the last time i went.
it wasnt that much cheaper.and if youget a good price off a good uk webxite jessops will price match

ibought a canon 350 d recently.and got it ffor only a little more than the best dubai price.
