Why the
do Fifth Gear bother to test a car like the Jeep Wrangler if all they are going to do is put Jason Plato in and let him grown on and on about how it doesn’t compare with an X5. At least when they put Tom Ford in the Disco 3 he drove the thing off road. Evan if he did off-roaders little favour by doing so.
Then the crash test at the end. Shocking as it was, I would have liked to see a comparison with a large estate hitting the small car side on at 60MPH.

Does anyone seriously believe people will buy that car for its off-road performance?
Why? Do you think they'd buy it for its on-road performance? People want it for its load and passenger space. However, when it comes to more serious buyers, they're more likely to want it for its off-road than on-road performance.
