Ferrari Hire – Rip Off

Since it look’s unlikely that I’ll have my 360 sorted out for Le Mans I thought I’d look into hiring one. What a rip off. One company is charging 599 per day with a 100 mile per day limit and 1.20 per mile excess. Not to mention 160 delivery and collection and 2,500 deposit.

So if I’m going to go from Thursday to Monday that’s 5 days and 500 free miles. Le mans is an 800 odd mile round trip. Plus a bit of running round whilst I’m there say 900 miles in total. That’s 400 excess miles or 480.

Giving a grand total of 3,635

And that’s without asking if they’ll let me take it overseas (which I doubt).

...a 360 with them will cost you more than that, but might be able to get their 355 for less.....

£599 a day sounds resonable for a 360 - especially if you can take it abroad! I hired one in April, but looked at a Gallado first which was a lot more - I even found a Merci but it was crazy money!

Try ukferrarihire.com - they were very good with me, and I'd have no trouble recommending them. They are sensible and will discuss excess milage charges and discounts (although I was 'off-peak'). I'm not associated with them, just a happy customer.

I will probably get a lambo for a long weekend in the summer for a long weekend - if funds permit.
