Any vets here ?
Discussion
My cat has a heart murmur, he's 10. I've been giving him 3 aspirins a week for 3 years now.
He grand slammed at the end of last year, rushed him to the vets at 3am, luckily he made it.
He's now on Hypercard, 3 tabs a day. It's about £ 10 for 30 tabs from my vet.
Do I have to buy this from the vets or can I get it cheaper online somewhere ? don't particularly want to annoy the vet though by buying elsewhere as he has done numerous ops on him.

As far as I'm aware that's a prescription only drug, so you'd struggle to find it over the internet easily. That's only from my limited knowledge though, so could be wrong.

I can't really see it being much cheaper if it's a script drug. I'd spend a lot more than that anyway to keep the little fella going.
Used to have more pins in his legs than Barry Sheene.

Don't know if this helps but when our dog was diagnosed as being epileptic we used to claim via PetPlan insurance for the tablets
good luck !

Did you have insurance previous to the diagnosis Mike ?
If I took out insurance now though shirley they wouldn't cover for an existing condition ?

Yes we had the insurance in place before the epilepsy was diagnosed.
