unable to find "automation" post

I know this seems lazy but I cant seem to find the post, I am looking for a post that was either in General Gassing or Pie and Piston , regarding websites that sold home automation equipment and other electronics - could anyone recall the post or link to the sites ?

you can always use google, simply put in "site:www.pistonheads.com home automation" without the quotes (and change home automation to whatever you want) and you get limited searches into the PH environment.

Not entirely sure if this is the type of thing you were looking for, but two companies whose websites might be worth exploring are

www.hager.com and have a look at their "Tebis" system
or http://www2.schneider.co.uk/seweb2/internet/catalogues.nsf/luAllByID/JLAH-6BCKYR?open

will take you to the SquareD system pdf.

Both systems are slowly making inroads in the uk, but it's fair to say the SquareD option is probably the more advanced currently.
