Since our boy has £250 of Tony's (yours and mine) money burning a hole in his romper suit, I thought I'd ask the PH collective where to put it.

He already has a savings account that is doing very nicely thanks, is going to inherit Grandad's share portfolio and is pretty comfortable for an 18 month old. So we want something high risk that he will either do very very well in, or it will be worth sweet FA when he's 18. It will probably get no regular donations (unless it's absolutely flying)and is just a bit of fun for him to watch over the years.

So my fellow PHer's the (banking) floor is yours.....

The Share Centre do a great Child Investment account which can be fully managed by yourself at very reasonable rates. This way you can invest in any companies you choose and take on the risk you want. www.share.com/ctf/which-account.html I think Ill be putting my lads £250 here.

Like invest at least £100 a month and be left with FA by the time he's 18?

Or are you being serious?
