Well I was`t out here on a jolly! Started work at 4pm saturday and finished this morning at 5am.

Saw most of the race, but the best thing was people and car watching. My job involves de-rigging th ibre optic cables laid around the circuit. Any of you who were lucky enough to be out there for pleasure will have seen half a dozen hot, sweaty fellas trying to pull cables through all the crowds.

The trucks were loaded next to the Amber Lounge, which a special night club opened by Sonia Irvine (Edde`s sister) during the race weekend Tickets are in the region of four hundred quid!

Every single beautiful woman in Europe walked pst where we were working.

And the cars! Ferraris are as common as Fiats, and I literally lost count of the number of Enzos.

Best for me though - a beautifully restored Fiat 500 Abarth, but then I always did have strage tastes.
