Please help Peter Bush

Following on from the thread last week about helping strangers, I'm leaving shortly to drive somebody to a meeting with a hospital consultant that will hopefully save their life, give them back mobility and allow them to lead something resembling a normal existence for the first time in 17 years. I had never met or heard of this person a month ago.

The man in question, Peter Bush, is an airline pilot who had a terrible accident in 1988 and has been utterly shunned by the NHS and the Government. He lost his health, his mobility, his dignity, his family, his house and his freedom. Today will be the first time he will have left his flat for three years.
As a result of the publicity I have gained for him, pilots all over the world have started a fund to raise money to get him the operations he needs. Today is his initial consultation. I know there are a fair few other propellorheads on pistonheads - you'll find details of the fund on the above thread and, it goes without saying, any contributions will be gratefully received.

Good of you to help out Mon Ami, I hope that everyones efforts pay off and this gentleman can get the help he needs.
I sure wish the U.S. Government would start looking after it's citizens better than they are; it sounds like you have some of the same problems the more I read P.H.
