Difference between a "blatt" and a "hoon"?

Well that's about it. Is the difference about the same as the difference between "six" and "half-a-dozen"? Or is there a difference?

As used here, I get the impression that a blatt is a small-scale pleasure drive, while maybe a hoon is a multi-day orgy of speed. But I'm just a Yank, what would I know about British motoring slang?

Hoon = "Making progress" along interesting roads

I'd put blatt and hoon the other way round to the way nominated earlier.

Blatt is just getting on with it, hoon has .... dare I say it .... a potential anti social element within.

Hoon - over 10 miles

Hoon.......Shoulders of all four (if you are really good!)

For me,

Blatt=wind the throttle open until some very large numbers appear.

Hoon=The same, but doing it all day
