Help! Dry Cleaners are crap...!
Discussion
Just got home to find a couple of pairs of trousers I've had dry cleaned have been shrunk...
I wouldn't normally mind if it were just the trousers, but they're both part of two suits costing over £500 each, rendering suits useless.
Does anybody know if I have any comeback on this? Have yet to call the dry cleaners.

Assuming it is one of the major cleaning co's you should take them back to the shop, along with the matching jackets. They should be able to send them to their lab and verify that their process caused the fabric to shrink. They're insured against this kind of thing.
Or they could shrink the jackets too, so you have a set!

It was unfortunately, a smaller company. I think privately owned. But I'm assuming they'd also have insurance in place.
Thanks Jo.

Thanks for that Steve. The next time something unfortunate happens to you, I hope I'm able to show the same restraint from unconstructive, ridiculing comments as you do...
