Run to the sun.....anyone going?

I know there are a couple of 'Cornwall-what to see?' threads going......but i was wondering if ,like me, anyone is going down for 'Run To The Sun' down in Newquay?
Basically a long weekend of not seeing much at all apart from all the local bars and clubs and fast food joints

i havnt been on the r.t.t.s for years,when is it on? (its not this weekend is it?,iirc the last one i went on was in may)
do they still have customs and classics join in or has it turned into a v.w's only run?
final question,is the starting point at heston services (westbound) as it used to be?

this happened last year too.....was travelling back early on the monday and roads were empty......but these guys were pegged out in lay-bys.....nice
Cortinaman.....yes it's this weekend.....and mostly its VWs but there are usually a wide spread of motors that come down for the BH.......expect lots of water pistol fights and general tom-foolery.....
Lazyitus........Newquay has attracted a fair few scrotes over the last few years (i've been going down there for around 14 years now)...but certainly not enough to spoil the fun! .....it still is an excellent place to party and fraternise with members of the opposite sex.....usually its got that chilled vibe 'all-weekender/bender' feel to it ......as opposed to the 'Blackpool' bank holiday experience where you take a first aid kit for punch-ups or the penecillin for pre-STD visit....
let's get pished!
unfortunately i am slumming it my mate's boxster as opposed to my M5.......but at least i don't have to worry about the scumeras

the last one i went on was back in 1991 (i had a white metro with r.t.t.s and acid faces all over it).....shame i didnt look this up sooner,i cant get this weekend off as the company need 28 days notice,its a bank holiday and its also southend airshow too (hard to get cover).
deffo be up for it next year though,i'll see if i can get my mate john to come along as he's got 3 beetles and he cant drive them all at the same time.
